We have a 72-hour cancellation policy, which means you can cancel without penalty three days before your arrival. If the booking is cancelled after this time, you are subject to a penalty charge equivalent to the first or only night of your stay. If you have done your reservation through a booking-platform (Booking.com, Hostelworld, TripAdvisor), cancellation policies might change. Please make sure you read carefully the Cancellation Policies section. For all reservations, we require a deposit at the time of booking. This deposit equivalent to the first night of your stay.
Of course. And it's FREE too. You have access to our free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building. Enjoy! TIP: Please keep in mind that WI-FI connections in South America tend to be slower than in the rest of the world. Breathe and go along with it!
Yes, Casa Carpedm serves breakfast from 8:00 – 9:30 am every day. Granola, fruits salad, yogurt, fruit juice, tea, coffee and scrambled eggs are always available. Our breakfast is simple, yet fresh and as healthy as possible. When you book directly your breakfast is free! In case you want to make some add-ons to Casa Carpedm´s breakfast, you're more than welcome to request some eggs sunny-side-up or bring your own snacks to complement it. We have a fridge to keep your stuff fresh and you can take full advantage of the local markets in the area.
Yes, they are. We provide fresh, crisp linen and towels in every room. We even do rooms cleaning every day! Something you need to know about us is that we love the environment. For that reason, we won´t change your towels or linen daily (let´s save water). However, if you stay more than 5 days with us, we will replace them once a week with pleasure!
Yes, of course. Gladly. If we find your lost item, we are more than happy to save it until you return. You can even let us know if a friend or relative will come to pick it up.
Yes. If you arrive earlier than check-in time, we’ll store your luggage free of charge until your room/bed is ready.
Yes. You can store your luggage free of charge with us from the moment you check out until you leaves the same day. We can also store your luggage while you’re having fun in Galapagos, the Amazon or simply exploring the rest of Ecuador if you book your last nights with us.
Reception works 24/7. However, if you are checking-in after 9:00pm, we strongly recommend you to use our pickup service. (price $25). We kindly ask you to confirm your arrival time please. If you want to book your pickup service, send us a message (HIPERVINCULO AL MAIL casacarpedm@gmail.com)
We are happy to provide you a late check-out according to our availability. Please, always check with our staff first. If possible, you can stay as long as you want for as little as $10.00 single room or $15 double room.
If the room is ready before 2:00pm, we’ll happily give it to you. If not, you can always hang in our social area or walk around the Old Town.
At Casa Carpedm we are happy to accept credit/debit cards, PayPal and cash payments. Here are some tips that your budget will love: *Credit/debit card payments have a 7% extra fee.. If you decide to use this payment method, keep it in mind. *PayPal payments have a 6% extra fee.. Don’t forget to kpeet it in mind when paying. *Don´t take it personally, but in Ecuador, big bills aren´t popular. Don´t bring $100.00 and $50.00 bills or they´ll stay in your pocket forever. Use small bills or even better: coins! *Checks and wire transfers are not accepted as payment methods. We are still old-fashion guys!

You can bring every day a bottle of water for altitude, your raincoat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, snacks, a camera, and perhaps a light jacket. Choose one with adjustable straps for comfort, multiple compartments for organization, and durable material for those unexpected twists in the journey.
