To get to the Quilotoa Lagoon the best and most recommended option is to do it from Quito, where you can book a day trip, this is a great alternative to travel in a safe, easy and fun way.  

Places to visit

• At 7:30 a.m. the adventure begins, the bus picks up passengers from the hotel. 
• Start visiting an indigenous market
• Toachi canyon
• Visit local indigenous houses
• Volcanic crater and the Quilotoa Lagoon (trekking)
• Enjoy spectacular typical food & back to Quito aprox 19:00

If you suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease, and respiratory diseases, do not forget to consult your doctor before participating in any tour involving altitude (Quilotoa approx. 3800m).
